Serenity


Serenity, what a perfect name for a essential oil.  Serenity is a doTerra oil blend and it is simple marvelous.  The oils that are in this blend is lavender, sweet marjoram, sandalwood, ylang yang, roman chamomile, and vanilla bean extract.  Serenity is a oil used to calm ourselves, and that it does.
Serenity is my sleep aide.  What Serenity does is calm the brain, calms that chatter that can keep us awake.  It really eases the nervous tension of the day.  It calms the emotions of the day.  I apply it to my forehead and the back of my neck, it doesn't take long to work, before I know it I am sound asleep.
I have found that as the years have past that I have more restless sleep patterns than I did in my younger years and I admit I did try off the counter sleeping aides but I disliked how they made me feel in the morning.  Then I was introduced to doTerra Essential Oils and have not used a over the counter sleep aide since.  When I started using Serenity I was amazed at how that brain chatter of reviewing your day or just some what I call maggot in the brain that won't turn off, gets turned off when I put the Serenity on.  I say need calming this may be the oil for you.
There is a great book out that you can get through www.aromatools.com that is called Emotional Healing with Essential Oils.  I find the information valuable for our emotional well being.  The author Daniel Macdonald has written a informative book.  He calls Serenity "The Oil of Forgiveness".  He states that "Serenity has a powerful effect on the heart."  Using Serenity can soften the most harden heart and bring compassion and tenderness towards other into you life.  So if you are in a situation where there is blaming going on and their seems to be a need of more openness, love use Serenity.

In our body system Serenity works on the Nervous System and in turn give aide in Emotional Balance.
By reducing stress which Serenity does, it opens the pathway for more blood flow to circulate to the brain.
Applying Serenity to your bath water, the bottoms of your feet, forehead, back of the neck will relieve your daily stressors.
